What do I need to do now? Can I call them? or send a email?
Hey so my hubby received an email from vo yesterday asking for the following:
To do the remedical and to take police clearance as we submitted application nov. 2015 and now both being expired
Also asking for more documents and this is second time first they asked back in feb 2016.. so they prety much ask us proof of communication for the past 2 months/ and or sponsors travel to srilanka after marriage (didnt visit him after marriage) my employment letter and my notice of assessment for 2015
But now comes the biggest concern which is they are asking us to provide Photographs of our religious wedding ceremony (Thali ceremony). But we only did civil.ceremony and provided proof of pictures plus marriage ceetificate back in 2015.. and our interpreter wrote on the application that as per astrologers advise we cant do thali ceremony till mid 2016.. so I am assuming that they think, I as the sponsor came to sri lanka to do the wedding with thali ceremony so thats why they r asking for pictures as proof.. now the lawyer is saying we have to write a letter stating y we didnt do wedding yet
My question now is does any one in the forum experienced a similar situation like us if so please give me any suggestions as to what we can do or by any means there are chances they can reject our applcation for not doing traditional wedding. All of our documents must be handed in by feb. 19, 2017.. thanks in advance.
dont worry we are here with you maybe we shud have all applied in 2016 instead of 2015 since it seems those who applied in early 2016 are already in Canada while people like us who applied in 2015 are still stuck. Maybe something about that year lol

Please present this letter to VFS for the purchase of the secure Passport Transmission Service. VFS will send your passport to the High Commission of Canada in $$$$ in a secure envelope. You will be advised by VFS when your passport is ready to be picked up.
