They didn't return the documents after the interview..

Why is everyone worried about not getting the docs back at the interview? In fact, getting the docs back can actually be a bad sign just after the interview as this could be taken as a sign they are closing the file without issuing PPR. So relax. You will get the docs back with the visa.

No its not a bad sign at all . They didn't return our docs after the interview but its not a big deal. Some ppl get it after the interview while others get it with the passport. That should not be a concern at all .

Hi anyone did remedical last week and when was it updated in the GCKey

My husband did it on Nov 22nd and it was updated on GCKey after 2-3 days (I didn't check it every day so not sure if it was updated after 2 or 3 days) but it didn't take more than few days to be updated.

They don't ask everyone to re-apply for the police clearance... not sure why.

My husband got his in August and it took just over two weeks. He went to the PO at least twice to ask for it though.

Thank you. I guess if my husband doesn't get it by mid next week he should go to the PO for an update.

Hi everyone!

I need your help..I'm sponsoring my husband.

I just noticed a small mistake on one of the forms! My husband worked in Qatar for about 2 years and we provided all the documents to support it as well. But, today I noticed a small typing error on the schedule A - Background/Declaration form under "personal history". Instead of putting 2012-05 to 2014-08 Qatar.. I put 2014-05 to 2015-08. All the other documents such as the police clearance, passport entry, and travel history section of the form, state the correct answer (2012-05 to 2014-08). Will this affect my application? I'm thinking about sending an explanation to CIC with the revised form? What do you guys think??

Also, I was requested additional documents from CIC last Monday. They asked me for my notice of assessment, t4, letter of employment and my husband's ID card (copy). I send everything to them the next day. But this week, I received an email from CRA stating that I have been reassessed. Should I update them on my re-assessment and send an explanation letter?

I'm so scared with all these discrepancies.

My timeline is:
App sent to CIC - Mississauga - June 29th 2016
AOR 1 - July 4th, 2016
In Process - July 20th, 2016
Sponsor Approval & sent to Colombo Office - Aug 21st,2016
Colombo office started processing - Sept 2nd, 2016
Request for additional docs - Nov 21st, 2016

Quick update. My husband picked up his visa from VFS. Both our UCI account and GCKEY account have been updated to 'DM' and 'complete'. His ticked is booked and confirmed. He will be arriving just before christmas. Yaaay. Thank you to everyone for your support. Wish you all good luck. Hope you all hear good news soon. Congratulations to all of you who received ur visa.
