Hoping someone can help me with this. After the interview, my husband got a request to get updated police clearance. As below: -Updated Police Certificate from Police Headquarters Colombo 1


What does this mean? Do we have to get it since birth or from the time we filed our application?

RE-MED and RE-PCC we received by email soon after the interview.
It is the same procedure but we got the results in 1 week instead of 1 month. first one took almost a month.
Medical gets submitted automatically from the hospital to the visa office within 2 business days.

Please let me know the process to take PCC again ??

Do we have to fill the same old form and pay Rs.500?

They have specifically mentioning that you need to take the PCC from the date you got the last PCC till today

they didnt mention that. Email only stated updated police clearance so I am bit confused. Also, if u lived in different addresses in Colombo, do the police actually go to each addresses to verify or they will come to ur current address?

My husband said the officer was a canadian woman interviewing him and that she was polite.

Wow congrats both Lav Canadian and kipriyan. May I know was it a local or canadian officer who held the interview and was he rude or friendly. Also did your hysband request an interpreter.

No he didn't have an interpreter. He is fluent both in tamil and English.
