Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

Yes Doublet, and they send a letter today. They've asked to submit communications proofs and that's all. My husband will bring them tomorrow morning.

Oh that's good, that means they actually have looked at it. Did they email him the letter or mail it to him? When you originally sent in your application, did you send in any proof (what kind of documents did you send it eg, pics, emails, communication)? Thanks

Hi, they asked for communication proofs, such as phone bills, emails, Skype ids, etc. But originally we sent pics.

Thanks sweet3....our main source of communication was Skype but there was really no record of all the calls made. How did you guys get your records? Or did they specifically just ask for the ids? And one more question, so the only proof you initially sent was just pictures? No other proof such as emails or phone records? Sorry for asking so many questions but since we both have similar time lines, and ur was sent in a couple weeks before mine, thought u would the best person to ask. Thanks so much

Hi Doublet, yes I only sent picture originally. That's how my cousin did for his wife last year. And they sent his wife the same letter my husband got. And they gave only phone call records because they dot use internet. And my cousin wife landed exactly in 8 months. She had an interview over the phone only. My husband went to submit his documents. So I guess the next step for him will be the interview! And for Skype calls he printed the convos we made and also print script all the calls we made through Skype. And also gave Skype ids.

For my cousin, his wife for interview in april 2012, the net day she got a call asking to bring passport.
