yeah...it can be restored to the visitor, but we need to apply for restoration because his previous status was expired.
Thanks to God, the wait is worth it; we got approval after exactly 5 months.

i also filed for Restoration + Extension for my husband's work permit application sept 30th.
Did you receive TRV too along with work permit extension?
If yes, how long is the validity?

If husband is in Canada, then why would you apply for TRV? TRV is to re-enter Canada.

Visitor record is not a TRV. Visitor record is to stay in Canada. Two different things. Processing is about 145 days, so if you have not received a response by end of January then raise a webform. Husband is not working, I assume.

When I kept my spouse's, the processing time was 119 days; now it is 145 days. Please clarify.
