Processing time for ICT Work Permit from India

Hi all,
Background :
ICT visa application applied from Hyderabad (work permit - Initial - online application): 28th March
Biometrics given - 1st April (Hyderabad)

No Update after that

Help needed:
1) I see application processing time as 4-6 weeks in the website, its been 2 months since I applied and gave Biometrics but still no update from consulate
can anyone give information on how long it may take to process Indian application(Considering current covid situation)?
2 ) is there anyone who applied after April 1st and got Application Approval? if yes pls. provide timelines.

I guess we get to know tomorrow, if there is any activity as they will update the processing time. Last week processing time was 20 weeks, if it increases further means they haven't resumed processing work permits.

Hi . I too applied in the month of April. Still awaiting further information . Application date : April 3, Biometric April 7. Done in Chennai. I think its probably because of Lockdown, all embassies are closed

I did a non-upfront medical exam on: 21st July
Biometrics : 20th July
Application filed on 25th June
Don't know which timelines to consider as I have done my medicals after the requisition ...

Has anyone here given a non - upfront medical and received the PPR ?

Yup I got ppr on 3rd sep but only for myself n my spouse. For my kids its still awaited.

Yup I got ppr on 3rd sep but only for myself n my spouse. For my kids its still awaited.

So, you submitted Biometrics in Feb and got it in Sep? That’s very long , right?

We submitted July 20th week with upfront medical. Submitted biometrics on Aug 20th 2021.

No update I can see that the family applications are being processed soon these days .. mine is a single applicant
