Processing Time: Change of status (spousal work permit to study permit)

Hi everyone,

I have a spousal open work permit and I applied for a Study permit.

What is the processing time ?

By looking at this page : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp.asp , I couldn't find any information and I don't know which category my application fits in , any idea ?

If you applied for a study permit then of course the study permit processing times apply to you.

I know, but I am not extending my study permit. I have no Study permit to extend it. I have a spousal open work permit and I applied for a NEW study permit.

You sent your application to the visa office responsible for processing applications for your home country - correct? So you would look at the study permit processing times for the visa office for your home country.

No, I'm in Canada. I'm on a spousal open work permit and I applied for a Study permit.

Any idea guys ? I really need help with this one . If I apply for a study permit while I'm on a spousal open work permit, how long does it take ? is it falls under "Study Permit Extension" ?
