My husband's employer has applied for a closed work permit for him and an open work permit for me. We are currently in USA and we completed our Biometrics on July 14th, 2020. We have also received our Biometrics Correspondence letter couple of days back but there has been no further updates. Our permits were applied in 2 week processing (guess that's irrelevant due to COVID-19). Can anybody guide us if they have had similar experience and how long did it take for them to receive a response?

Even my current employer applied for a work permit in Canada for me as an internal transfer to the Canada office from the US. And I believe my application falls under GSS because in my IMM 1295 for Q)What type of work permit you are applying for? A: Exemption from LIMA.
And below are my timelines. No update as of today after correspondence.
