Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi Everyone,

Honestly, I really don't know how to start our application after me and my boyfriend get married on March 2010. Can you please help me.

My boyfriend is in the Philippines. After our wedding, we will process his application here in Toronto and my question is;
Do I have to send everything in CIC Mississauga including all his application form, his letters, email to me, and all the pictures were together and for all the questions that my boyfriend needs to answer?

Is it true that, all he need to do is wait for immigration in Manila to send the request form for his medical and send his passport after? Basically, I will be the only one whose gonna send everything, every single documents, applications, pictures, telephone bills, his birth certfificate, his copy of passport, etc. right?

Applications that I will send in CIC Mississauga are: ( please include list that I missed and need to forward )
PRINCIPAL APPLICANT (spouse):
IMM 0008 (10-2008 )E
IMM 5406 (04-2009)E
IMM 5490 (04-2008)E
IMM 5476 (10-2008)E
IMM 3905 E (checklist) - A1,A2,B1 (photo specification),C1(medical form)

SPONSOR:
IMM 5491 (10-2007) E -Checklist
IMM 1344 A (04-2009)E
IMM 1344 B (05-2008)E
IMM 5481 (04-2009)E
IMM 5409 (04-2009)E
IMM 5476 (10-2008) E
IMM 5540 (04-2008)E

Looks like you have it all and then some. You only need to include the forms that apply to your case, so for example you'd leave out the IMM 5409, since you won't be in a common-law union.

You have to send everything (except for his passport) together to Mississauga - your forms, his forms, all the relationship proof. You should also include his police certificate for any country he's lived in for 6 months or more since turning 18 and the proof of completed medical exam.

He should do the medical exam before you send the application, he can do it anywhere in the world. He will receive a form to confirm he has done it and the visa office will use that form to retrieve the results of the medical from the regional medical center where the DMP will send them.

Be advised that the police checks should not be more than 3 months old when your application gets to Mississauga and the medical exam expires in 1 year (if he doesn't have a visa by then yet, he will have to redo the medical), so try to get them as close to sending the application as possible.

If you're lucky, Manila will only ask for one thing from your husband and that will be the passport. Though it seems that particular visa office often requests some other documents as well.
