Procedure to get work permit for Spouse outside Canada

Hello,
My nephew’s spouse will be sponsored as ‘living outside Canada’. She has visitor visa so for some period she can stay with him. Is there any way there is any form in addition to ‘Spousal Sponsorship’ that she can get ‘Open Work Permit’ and stay here with her husband?

The short answer is no.

She doesn't qualify for an open work permit since she applied outland.

If she wants to work, she will need to apply for a closed work permit. To qualify for a closed work permit, she needs to first secure a full time job from an employer in Canada and that employer must obtain an approved LMIA.
