Hi, my partner applied for a spousal work visa from overseas. We received a PFL. Somehow due to some clerical error our visa agent missed my partner's visa refusals. However, we had proof of my conversation that we disclose it but they didn't fill in the form. We have applied with our response before the deadline. It's more than 2 weeks but we haven't hear back feom canada immigration. Can you please tell me how long does it take?
1. Your partner is responsible for the application the "agent" submitted.
2. S/he can expect to be refused and mostly banned from Canada for 5 years.
3. There is no timeline as to when you will receive a response.
Yes, but I am a student in Manitoba and I just left with two months of studies. My study visa is valid till June 2020. I am just worried if they take long time that would be an issue. Or should I take further studies?

Given that your studies are almost finished there is a good chance your spouse will not receive a SOWP. What is your status in Canada? Do you qualify for PGWP? Did you apply for asylum and was it accepted?

You are applying in the refugee section. It is up to you if you keep studying. You should have already applied for another program and a study permit extension if that is your plan.
The likelihood of getting an SOWP when your schooling is ending so soon isn’t great on top of the missed refusals. If you continue studying or get a job in NOC 0, A or B you can already reapply.
