I have a Toyota Sienna with a active recall in USA. As per the RIV, I can import it into Canada but cannot get through the inspection if the there is a recall.
I found from Toyota website that my car does have an active recall and to add to the pain.. it doesn't have a remedy yet. Ofcourse the remedy and resolution may take months and I may not be able to drive my vehicle in my province Ontario.
Can someone suggest..
1. How long can I drive my car with US plates in ON?
2. After how many days I should have the inspection done after importing?
