It depends on the spouse location I think. Where is your spouse? @nurzohra 's spouse is in Poland which is not a very hot red zone at the moment. Good luck! Hope you get it soon.
yup it merely lies on the outland spouse location. my spouse is in Pakistan so I would imagine they will take their time before they make a final decision
no they didnt extend my medicals .. they are expire tomorrow so i asked if I have to regive.. they said to wait and iRCC might just extend it in future...
Just a thought - "Why can't IRCC open up about the actual processing time for pending applications? Especially applications with outland dependants and/or FSW - O?" Even if they come up and say we will take another six to eight months, we can at least plan for the next six - eight months. Whereas currently thousands of PA and their families have been left in limbo since the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March with no clear information from IRCC.
PS: I am #foreverhopeful but at the same time I am also fed up with unclear information. Share your thought if you feel the same.
My friend called IRCC and asked about the hold for outland dependents of inland applicants... agents said that their applications were on hold before but its not longer the case - there was a new public policy last week and now outland dependents are given coprs and they are allowed to come.
Please take this by pinch of salt. IRCC have the habit of delaying things. However, through this news we can live in some hope for next few days which we have lost in past months.

Thats really strange because I called in a few days ago (after the announcement for lifting restrictions) and they told me that they haven't received any internal directives to resume our cases.

Thanks a lot for sharing!
Let's see if there will be any positive movement for people in this group during the next few weeks to validate if that's legitimate info from the IRCC Agent.
I really want to hope that it's.
Gosh, living in uncertainty is the worst.
Hello, My overseas spouse and I received our CoPR today. My spouse's passport has also been dispatched from VFS global. He should probably receive it by tomorrow. We also received a letter of travel restrictions that said that he cannot travel if the CoPR was issued after March 18, 2020. Does anyone know if the travel restrictions have been lifted or not?

They will extend it am sure. I ended up calling mine coz the instructions wasn’t clear so the agent told me mine was extended but my husband needs to redo his and I have yet to see the update for mine.
