I have seen a request in my account for my dependents for IMM1017E which is for medicals , the current medicals are still valid for my dependents till september, i have sent a web form wanted to understand if this can be an error or there is something else happening .

I have seen some other people as well getting requested the same but it was cancelled again .

The medicals have to be valid when you submit your application as well as when you land. If you are outside Canada, and your medicals expire in September, then there is a likelihood that by the time the travel restrictions are eased, and you are given a PR visa / COPR, you may not have sufficient time to land, as a PR visa cannot be issued beyond the expiry date of your medicals.

This could be a reason to send a request for re-medical.

However, you have sent a webform and the response will clarify.

2021 applicants are getting their PR is 2 months Nothing against them but IRCC is most random department ever.

Yes, because they basically removed all restrictions/points cutoff in 2021. There's less scrutiny of the applications overall.
Hard luck for us who applied last year.

My aor is oct 2019. Cec with outland dependent. Called ircc the other day and i was told they updated my app in April and extended my medicals. Take note the last time they touched my profile was in March 2020 where they asked for my dependent’s address. Nothing after that. Hopefully we all get our PR confirmation soon

Today i got a ghost updated. All the stages are passed since march 2.May be they extended medical for me and my husband as my medical expired on june 1 and my husband’s medical was expired today or do you guys think its something different?

Not likely this year. There hasn't been many approvals in last few months. We started seeing some approvals in the April but then it went dead silent again. Hope for the best but be ready for the worst.
