I have received my ITA and there's question for my wife "have you ever used any other name"?
My wife was previously married with a different surname. However, in her previous and current passport, her name is only "first name" and even in educational documents, it's only first name. It's just in divorce papers, she had a surname.
I'm afraid, if i attached the divorce paper , cic will see the last name? will it cause any issue if i say "NO" in that question as she has only first name in all documents except in divorce paper.

AFAIK, divorce papers are asked only if the person is still a divorcee. However, now you'll be required to upload your Marriage Certificate. Though, you'll be required to furnish her previous details in the form ( Spouse Name, Marriage Duration )

the only issue is she has a dependent child from previous marriage which would require full custody paper from court which she has. However, she has last name in the court document. So I guess, I should include her previous name? even though previous and current passport has only first name.

Yes. IRCC for sure would ask the custody papers of the child. The best that you can do is get a Notarized Affidavit which explicitly lists her all the names that she has used till now. That should suffice.
