I am planning to travel to Canada next month and I am not sure what exactly to write in my quarantine plan.
My university's guideline does mention that I can book a hotel via a certain hotel chain but it's optional. Can I even book a private apartment on airbnb and print out the confirmation email as my proof for quarantine plan?
And as for 'get to your destination' part, this is what's written on the guideline:
According to the guidelines for Montreal-Trudeau airport, you will be allowed to use public transit (including taxis, Ubers, or the 747 Bus) only if you are showing no symptoms of COVID-19.
Does it mean I can just walk off the airport and take a uber/taxi/even metro to my airbnb accommodation (provided no symptoms)?
for the 'get your groceries' part, I think I will have my friend to deliver groceries and drop them off front door, so I will include details of my friend in the plan.
for the 'access essential services and medical care' part, I will google nearby clinics/hospitals/embassy details and copy&paste to my plan?

get to your destination -> How you are going to reach your quarantine destination. As I know, use of public transit is not permitted even you have no symptoms. (Maybe it's different for quebec province, check official canada website)
get your groceries -> you are not allowed to order food and groceries from outside. You can write like your friends will provide you the necessary groceries and you will cook yourself etc.
access essential services and medical care -> you can add nearby clinic adresses and may mention your friends will help you to supply necessary medicine.
I have not heard that you can take public transit. In fact in some airports they have personnel stationed at busses and the trains checking where you came from before allowing people to take these methods.
For medical care/essential services I would include pharmacy tooo.
There are a lot of grocery delivery services here now. You could add one or two of them to your list. It doesn't hurt to research it anyways.
One of the most important things is showing that you don't need to go to a bank (so that you have cash or a credit card). Otherwise they will wonder how you will get by for 2 weeks with no money to pay for things.
Also, be sure to give them your mobile phone. They will call you, A LOT. And if you don't pick up they will send police to the address that you provided on your quarantine submission.
I believe you can book AirbNB but you need to show them its a private accommodation not shared and that its a remote keyless entry, like you don't need to see a landlord to get the key.

If public transport is not allowed and there is a risk to make contact with uber/taxi drivers, how are we supposed to get to accommodations then? Rent a car and park outside for 14 days?
I also found it weird that we are even allowed to take public transport to make contact with the general public.
How many pages are recommended for the quarantine plan? I heard some people have up to 7 pages but all i can think of is to copy&paste clinic/hospital/pharmacy/embassy details into the plan to make it as detailed as possible....
I have another question, there is no direct flight from my city to Montreal which means I will have to take at least 1 domestic connecting flight, most likely Toronto - Montreal. And I guess I will spend my quarantine at Montreal. So I will just take to connecting flight with all other domestic travelers?

Yeah, it's super weird that it is allowed given all the other stipulations but you quarantine at your destination NOT the port of entry. Most universities and colleges are telling their students to book a private driver so you can show the name of the company. I heard Uber doesn't cut it because of contact tracing and concerns about cleaning etc.
