Hello,

We are due to land in in Oct but just found out my wife is three weeks pregnant, should we inform our visa office?
Could we land although she is in the early stages of pregnancy, do we need to inform the immigration on landing?
We are aware we will not be covered by Canadian Gov insurance and are able to pay for any scans while in Canada.

Note: we have already sold everything in our home country in preparation to move.

Hi

You are not required to inform CIC, nor are you required to inform CBSA when you land. There is no issue landing while pregnant.

Nothing to worry & no need to inform CIC or VO

No need to inform anyone. Just Land and enjoy your stay in Canada

You should definitely get registered for your provincial health coverage as soon as possible, birth in a hospital will be very expensive.
