Hi-after getting visa approval it says we can sign up for pre-arrival services so the govt can help us with questions and preparing before we leave. Planning for Canada is one of them. Has anyone done it? How was it?
It really depends on what sort of information you seek. For eg if you do not have any family or friends in Canada it is a great introductory tool- gives you general idea about banks, climate, living, jobs etc.
i would recommend using them in such a situation. but If you work in a regulated trade then they may be limited in their help and resources- i would nonetheless attend a few seminars just to get a rough idea.
