Just received PPR lately and planning to move to Canada soon. Wondering if any of you used Planning for Canada Program to help you settle down there. On its website it states it's a "free pre-arrival service funded by the Government of Canada". I am hoping this program could provide some guidance on finding a job prior to arrival in Canada.
Like the pre-arrival service, it's not useful. As we see in this forum, posters still ask if they need to declare this and that. Upon landing, you would be given a booklet called "Welcome to Canada" which I personally it's just a waste. You can just read it and similar articles in the local library.
