PR visa expiry date

I have had my medical exam done on October 13th 2009, I got the passport request from the VISA office already, I am planning to land on the 2nd half of October 2010 Can the VISA get issued to an expiry date of Oct 30th 2010? or it will be only valid till the exact day of medical exam? Thank you

The validity of PR visa will be till October 12, 2010. So you have to plan a landing at least before that date keeping a margin of one week for sake of any unforseen reasons.

yes, the visa is valid till exactly 12 months!

You should be lucky to be an exception
Better plan before the due date
