PR Renewal - Traveling history country of final distination or transit country ?

Hi,

My PR is expiring in about 6 months, I have enough day of RO that is not a problem (already 800 days and + 6 month more to go). I have traveled for couple of time and each tie I have been to another country to see family for some days before going to my final destination for long stay (+1 year + 6months).

When filling the form how do you put it in ? should I list 4 days stay then put an other date from that country to next one ? Or I just put my departure and arrival date of Canada to my final destination ?

Also when counting days do you guys count the day you take the flight and the day you arrive as both days counted as been in Canada ?

What will be the best time for me to apply for renewal as it expire in 6 months, should i wait the last moment to get the maximum of days to avoid any trouble or red flag ? I have no plan to travel untill next year.

The day of exit and arrival need not be counted as absence from Canada. But for the travel history, departure date from Canada and the arrival date in Canada should be shown.
