I just moved to Canada in January 2020 with 2 week processing under Global Talent Stream A with LMIA and permanent position job in Toronto with family.
I want to apply for PR now and my points with assumptions of IELTS marks are just 410. Will be a great help if you can please help with below queries:
- In my case with Global Steam LMIA etc. do I need to get transcripts and appear for IELTS?
- Will I get PR with 410 points now or should I wait for a year than my points go above 460?
- Is the number written on work permit paper received on landing has the right LMIA number?
- What approach should I take to apply and received a successful PR if I want to apply now before a year?

- Yes. You need to take IELTS and also do ECA.
- You will not get PR with just 410 points through Express Entry. Cut offs are currently at 470+. If you cannot increase your points to this range, you'll need to look into the PNP programs.
- Not sure I understand this question.
- You want to increase your points to the 470+ range. Make sure you max out your IELTS score.
