My husband's took a week. Submitted, recieved, stamped, dispatched and picked up. 7 days.

Have you updated your spouse’s passport to include “name of spouse” before applying??

we want to submit application this month and am wondering whether this is needed. once again sorry to disturb this group.

Hello I submit my wife passport for stamping in Delhi and its in processing since Nov 12. Anyone applied during same timeline?

I have also submitted my son's passport on nov 8 and it reached delhi on nov 12, in processing.
After that i also submitted my daughter's passport on nov 27 and it reached delhi on nov 29, in processing.
still waiting for an update, none yet. do let us know if you get any update.

I repeat from other thread: this is absolutely not required. I'm certain. If you feel the need to explain it, write a letter of explanation.

Approximately what is the processing time for stamping.
Any mode of communication is available for enquiry of our application status.

1. Depends on your visa office. Some places take 7-10 business days, others I’ve seen can take a month.
2. Vfs does email and sms you on updates for your passport stamping process.

Both my son's and daughter's passports were dispatched today and will reach our home by tomorrow(19th nov).
It took almost over 5 weeks for my son's passport, and 3 weeks for my daugther's.

Finally, the wait is over. Wishing you all the best!

Submitted my wife's passport on Dec 30th to VFS, reached IRCC(Delhi I believe) on Jan 2nd.
No update yet.

Can any tell me what category to select for spouse Pr submission at vfs Chandigarh ( application is approved):

1Passport Submission for
Permanent Residence Application
(Family Class Priority, Economic PR)

2Passport Submission for
Temporary Resident Visa (TRV,
Study Permit, Work permit)

3Passport Submission for
Permanent resident travel
document.

Of course it's not TRV ? From 1 or 3 which one ?
