PR Holder with Indian Passport but validity is less than 6 months

Hi All,

My passport is expiring in the month of July 2025.

I am planning to travel to India in the month of March and get my passport renewed.

Also, I have booked a flight from Toronto to Mumbai with layover at Amsterdam. Anybody who has been through something similar can you share your thoughts for the same.
If someone who had similar circumstances & traveled to India & come back to Canada, please share their experience. Any issue raised airlines or official at Indian or Canadian airport?

Were you able to travel with less than 6 months validity? Can you please share your experience.

Hey @iamrfmas , I just came back from India, I was able to travel without any hassle back to my home country i.e., India.

The only little hassle I faced was at the airport while coming back to Canada as there was a change of passport details(I renewed my passport).

But after spending 10 more minutes (they had to alert the Canadian authorities - a standard process) at the check-in counter at the airport.

The flight counter personnel sorted all and I still had 3 more hours before boarding the flight.
