My husband and I are planning to apply for our PR in Canada. We are Indian citizens. We have a baby (American citizen). Can someone please help me in answering these questions:
1. Should we include our baby (2year old) in our PR application?
2. Instead of applying for PR for the baby, is it possible for my husband and I to get a PR and then apply for an extension of his visa based on our PR status?
3. Will getting a Canadian PR status affect his US citizenship in any way?

1. It's mandatory that you include your child in the PR application. There are no special rules for Americans.
2. I don't know what you mean by this. As said above, the child must be included as a dependent in your application.
3. No - it won't.
