I'm filling the "Immigration history and citizenships" section under "Personal details" for the dependent. There is a field for "Unique Client Identifier (UCI)"
I enter the one we have in our profile, but I get validation error. This is the first time we're applying. Am I supposed to leave it empty?
UCI is not your profile number.
If you have a study or work permit or a visitor visa, you can find your UCI on those documents.
If you've never dealt with IRCC, never applied for any type of Canadian visa, you won't have one.
