Our PR cards will be expiring next month, but we will not be able to go to Canada, due to my mother serious condition due to illness. We can not go to canada in this situation.Please advise us what to do and how to proceed to save our PR status.
Then you apply for a Travel Document at the closest Canadian Consulate when you are ready to travel or know the date of return. See: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/travel.asp

if i got travel document, what process will be at port of entry. Will they complete the process as they done when we doing landing first time. like photos and landing papers etc? paper work. then PR renewal will take how many days.
