PR confirmation portal timelines

Hey guys, someone got PR -card , After ecopr? I am still waiting it’s been 8 days now since I got my ecopr , please someone can share their Experience. Thanks much appreciated

2. When did you receive your log in details for the portal? June 3, 2021
3. When did you declare your presence in Canada, updated the address and uploaded a picture on the portal? June 3, 2021

5. What is the VO? Virtual Landing Office

I am asking this on behalf of my friend as he has ECopr so his Work Permit and Visa is invalid now but he needs to travel to India for some urgency now since he is waiting for PR Card what are the options for him.

He can travel to India but to come back , he should apply for PRTD document.
You can look that up online and the fees is 75$.

Same things. I heard that they are taking 4 months but some are saying 45 days and it’s mentioned in portal that they gonna send within week .. don’t know what’s true

Mine is as follows:
1. Received email asking for information - 20th May (Replied on the same day)
2. Received log in details for the portal - 21st May
3. Declared my presence in Canada, updated the address and uploaded a picture on the portal - 21st May
4. ECOPR received, Address and photo approved in the portal - 25th May
5. VO - Etobicoke
6. Still waiting for my PR card.

Does anyone receive theirs?

Is your photo also approved?

I sent an email 2 days ago. OBVIOUSLY no response from them.

Guys… it worked for me. I sent a new email yesterday and just got it my credentials link.

In my case , I came to Canadá 3 years ago ( original entry date). I traveled out of the Country several times and last time I entered was from the USA (date of last time you entered Canadá). I guess both dates are the same if you have never left the Country after you landed first time in Canada

Anyone on same boat? I need to travel to India ASAP and im not sure what to do as no PR Card is there and this COPR doc is expiring in Oct this year.

Hi there,

You don't need a visa to travel to India (assuming you're a citizen/OCI)- but on your way back you either need a PR card or a PR travel document (PRTD). You can apply for one online from most countries and it costs $75.

It'll allow you entry back to Canada although I'm not clear if it will work if your CoPR expires. Call IRCC for more info.

Hopefully your photo is approved & PR card arrives before you need to travel. That's the simplest way!

I get it - all plans hinge on getting one piece of laminated paper - it's frustrating!
BTW the fees are $50 for PRTD

This journey of 14 months was nothing less than a roller coaster.
I cried 75% of the days during the wait. Was fed up of underpaid job on closed work permit.
I hope everyone here gets of soon especially my friends from 2020. They are going through much more...
