Thank you! I'm just scared of leaving and they wont give it to me or I wont get my PR card if am able to come back. Do you know what time frame they give you with the PRTD so you can travel back to canada?
Actually I was wrong if you have a PR Card with you then you can stay outside Canada for 3 years out of the 5 years of your PR Card, it can be continuous or non- continuous and to answer your current question the PRTD is valid for 6 months so you can stay outside Canada for 6 months with PRTD and those 6 months start from the date of issue so I would say that if you are leaving with just ECOPR or without ECOPR then apply for PRTD at least 2 months before you are planning to come back to Canada.
yes as long as it will be valid by the time you going to enter Canada again through land border, so once you enter Canada through land border just show them a print of your ECOPR, your passport visa and if they ask you where is your PR Card then just tell them that you haven't received it yet.
1. If I am flying to the US and then entering Canada via a land border, will the US inquire about my legal status in Canada? If they do, should I present my COPR or my visa stamp along with my work permit?
2. If I leave Canada after receiving my COPR, will my PR card still be delivered to my Canadian address while I am away?

1. US won't care about your legal status in Canada as long as you have a visa, Canadian Border Patrol might ask that question while entering Canada and you just show them your COPR and Visa that's all no need to show your WP as you are already a Permanent Resident now.
2. yes it will be delivered to the mail box of the address that you mentioned during P2.
I think in Oct they were following patterns in issuing ECOPR's because my friend got P2 a day before me then next day I got P2 then during ECOPR also he got it on Oct 10 and then I got my ECOPR on Oct 11 but right now it doesn't seem like they are following any sort of pattern although I am still sure that most of Oct P2's will get their ECOPR this month.
