Not sure it ever worked, some people did say they got it the same day by doing it but lots got it after 1, 2, 3, or even more days so not sure if it just coincidence.
Hi Guys,
writing to get some understanding of timelines, I received P1 email from Etobicoke VO on Mar 12, replied with required details (UCI, email, last entry date, etc) how much time it usually take to receive the 2nd email with temporary password.
I am stressing out on this and want to understand how it works in the Etobicoke VO.
I've followed this thread for quite some time and have found it really helpful in determining the pace of things. I just got my P2 today and thought I'd contribute with my timeline.
Applied August 28, 2023
AOR on October 7, 2023
Application completed on "application tracker" on February 28, 2024
P1 on March 5
P2 on March 14
Now awaiting my eCOPR. The document number for this and everything has been on the application tracker for a few weeks now, so hopefully this means it'll come soon? My VO is Montreal.
Update: I got my eCOPR today!! A huge sigh of relief and a total surprise to be honest. I didn't expect it to come so soon! My COPR number has been available on my application tracker for a while now and it showed it was supposed to expire in May, so perhaps that's why things moved a bit faster? My VO was Montreal though, so there is hope for those still waiting! It seems like things have sped up quite a bit for people in that office as of recently.
This is a grueling process and everyone on this thread should feel proud of themselves for sticking it out. Good luck everyone!

I just got Portal 2, but encountered brightness issues during the photo upload process. Despite adjusting the brightness several times, the problem persisted, so I just proceeded with the upload. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

Congrats! I believe the main reason why you got your e-CoPR so fast was that it was due to expire in May. My CoPR doesn't expire until January 2025 according to the status tracker, so I'm guessing I'm in for a much longer wait.
where did you write them? webform? I've been sending them webforms too but no response. I also called but they only told me to wait. It's been 2 months now still no PR card. The normal processing time went up to 46 days.
