I made one follow up call last week because Ottawa returned my dependent's passport without the visa or COPR because I don't have eCOPR yet. Hopefully we all get eCOPR this week.

you can see it in the signature of the first portal email
or you can call an IRCC agent and ask (I haven’t tried that way)

Nothing much call them last week they told me same thing and it came on my birthday yesterday

It is funny to know that. Because I got my Portal 1 on my birthday as well with the highlighted date and the birthday, now I am waiting on my ecopr. Are these agents playing us?? lol. Don't know if I have to wait until next birthday to get ECOPR. I waited 2.5 years to get this far, same as you through TR to PR.

No not yet. My COPR validity is July 2024.

Is there any way to expedite the process of Ecopr? My spouse's (outland dependent) Copr is going to expire in Jan 2024. She can not fly to Canada until I get the Ecopr as I am the primary applicant. Waiting since Oct 16.

Hi,

My wife and I have been waiting for our eCOPR since August 30th. This is unbelievable. My work permit will expiry in one month and I will have to pay just because IRCC is holding my eCOPR.

My timeline:
1st portal email: August 07
2nd portal email: August 30th
VO Montreal.

Just wanted to give an update that we are still waiting. I called IRCC, sent emails and webforms and the answer is always the same. This is unbelievable because one of the call center agent confirmed that the COPR already exist and they only need to upload in my portal.

BTW, why eCoPR has the validation date?
what happens if that date expires?
is it valid until you receive a PR card?

It’s the same validity of the medical exams, if the application is an outside one you have until the medical expiry date to entry.

if you’re inland you will get it the same way, just like people get pre arrival services letter even though they’re inside applicants

Try your MP if it’s been a while since Portal 2, but there isn’t much they can do… :/
