You will get a general email from the PR portal, once you login into the portal there it will show in your application you need to update the photo. I don't remember what the exact message was on pr portal but once you log in it will be clear that you need to upload a new photo.

sometimes it's a glitch that the photo is not there..

A week or 2 maybe. From timelines in this forum, Calgary VO is taking more time to send COPR's

Mine is Etobicoke.. And the 42 days average processing time starts from eCOPR date right?

And, I am yet to receive the PPR for my dependent. Will it be after our eCOPR?

It was approved and mailed on Feb 6 and i got it on Feb 14!

What did your pr card status says in gckey mines say we are processing your application I received ecopr in January 26

It said we mailed your permanent resident card to you. I got my Ecopr on Jan 10

Yeah true, but if it's a glitch you will be able to see the photo if you refresh 2-3 times or if you log out and log in. In case of a photo rejection, you will definitely get an email from PR Portal, and once you log in it will show you a message that your photo is rejected and needs to be updated again.

People with Montreal VO, can I assume you have received an email telling you that your application is in queue for finalization, and can’t be processed due to work capacity limit? I received it and all the recipients were BCC’d.

If you were not invite for portal 1 request, they will not respond to the email. It says so in the email everyone receives for portal. You just have to wait.

Finally.. after so many Ups and Downs.. !!! The long journey of waiting and hoping is over!!! This forum helped me so much to be patient, to see what’s going on and to understand that all of us are in the same boat. Fingers crossed for all of you guys and I hope that you‘ll get your eCoPR/PR card very very soon. Relax, it’s only a matter of time..

hi! i did not get the "approved" status in gckey. But I called by phone and they told me that the photo and so the card is approved and went to production on monday.. Im wondering how long it takes to get sent?
