I called IRCC to open a ticket a year ago regarding the timing of my application and also submitted an online form on February
3rd. However, I only received a response to the form yesterday. Two cards were issued on February 8th, and one was issued on February 11th. So, I don’t think the online form had much impact, but maybe the ticket did.
I noticed that my eCOPR says 'single,' but I am actually married, and my spouse is listed as a dependent. She has also received her passport request in India. If I apply for a correction, I assume it will take some time. Does anyone know if my wife can still travel? Will this delay the issuance of my PR card? Has anyone experienced this before? Any advice would be appreciated!
Yes, I know some people have been waiting for over a year, but we applied on June 4th and our background check is still in progress. Many people who applied after us have already received their P1-P2 emails, and some have even received the eCOPR. It's frustrating and ridiculous. We've been waiting for 81 days in the background verification stage, and there's been no update. I've called 2-3 times, and they say they'll get back to us. We are a family of three, and when we applied, the processing time was 13 months, so we're already 8 months behind. I hope we receive our PR card before June. I wish everyone patience and good luck.
It amazes me how this eCOPR approval is so random and there is no timeline. Some get theirs in 5 days. I have seen people who got theirs the next day. And some, well, 3 months and the coming of Jesus Christ

IRCC wants to close the EE profiles under 6 to 8 months from AOR and for Non EE this can take from 1 year to 2 years, these people probably have older AOR that's why they received Ecopr very fast after their P2. At the end your P1, P2 date doesn't matter only AOR date matters.

yeah I understand we all should mention our AOR dates as well along with p1,p2 dates but in my case IRCC took 5 months from AOR(May 26) to issue ECOPR and overall in 6 months from AOR I received my PR Card.
Now that I think about it, I got my P1 on 7th January, exactly 4 months from my AOR. Maybe that does not mean anything but I thought it was worth mentioning LOL.
Looking back at people who got their eCOPR 4 days later, their AOR is wayyy longer than mine. So I guess you are right that it does not matter the timeline from P2 to eCOPR, but the overall length of time it takes you to get the eCOPR.
