Hey folks!
I called IRCC 25 minutes ago.
Somehow MAGICALLY I was connected to a really nice person.
And they gave me so called "answers"
- I asked if there is any update on my application
- Answer : no update, it will get picked when it gets picked.
- I asked that my dependent is outside country so is my application paused until then? what will be the process PRTD/PR visa... etc..
- Answer : no idea, depends on officer if they'll treat the two of you separately or as same application
- I asked whether I should call my MP to expedite process?
- Answer : no, it wont change anything, it will get picked when it gets picked.
- I asked whether I should call back when I reach 90 day mark from P2
- Answer : no, it wont change anything, it will get picked when it gets picked.
And the weird part - my tracker shows an update now.
It shows - last updated
today, with an entry -
We received your enquiry.
I have less clarity and faith now than before I called IRCC.
The tracker update is regarding the call you just made today. Hopefully, they issue yours soon mate. Been a loooooong wait for you my friend!

Yeah same happened to me, after calling them the next day tracker showed "Last Updated Yesterday", I was getting little optimistic only to realize it was due to the call I made

The hard part in that call was to hear "nothing you do makes any difference.. no MP no 90 day from P2".
It will get picked when it gets picked... that's all.
Just sit there like an idiot and pause your life until someone in the government pays attention to your file.

Someone else called a while ago and when asked regarding the 3 months thing, they were told, it could take up to "A YEAR"! The agent said it gets picked when it gets picked. What a joke!
Do we know how many people are waiting for ecopr currently?
The employer who I had my closed wp with terminated my employment. Could that affect my PR? Could they deny it?
Anyone know about this?
Did you claim points for it? Was it a positive LMIA job supported by your employer?

I dont think your agent told you the truth.
Let me explain my thought process
When I called them, the agent told me "There is nothing you can do". That's when I asked them about the 90 days thing. The agent had no idea about it and had to put me on hold for few minutes and they didnt put the hold music for the first few seconds, so I could hear them asking someone something. I couldn't make out what they asked, since they suddenly put the hold music. After the hold, they told me they can only escalate after 90 days from portal account creation date and then told me date was Oct 30 and to call back on Jan 30
So I think not all agents are trained the same or know everything?
This might be speculation, but just saying what I faced during my call.

Yes I claimed the points for it... It was supported by my employer but they fired me for no reason.

This makes much more sense compared to someone else who was told that it could take up to A YEAR. Really hoping everyone who's been waiting for so long receives theirs. It's been an absolute nightmare since last week!

You're obligated to inform IRCC if there are any changes to your situation. This definitely falls under that obligation. Did you already receive your P1 and P2?

Yes i have received P1 and P2. Now waiting for eCOPR and PR card. But eCOPR taking this long is making me worried.
