I didn't get the automated message when I replied with the confirmation. But when I tried to follow up with the same e-mail five days later, I got the automatic reply. Not sure why...

Hello everyone,

I would like to know your insights on my situation -

I received my PR portal invitation email on November 9th and a reminder on November 10th and I replied to both with my details. But I had to travel urgently on November 12th because of an emergency and I will have to be in India until Jan. I haven't received my portal credentials yet and I have my work permit with me. How should I go about my situation? Will it be a 4 month long wait like some people? My friend who is travelling in December is ready to get my card if it is delivered in that timeframe. I would greatly appreciate your input.
