From the 5-6 email addresses I sent to only one office gave me an automated reply back saying they received my info which I thought was a good sign
Just to reiterate, you sent p1 reply (all details about applicant) to all 5-6 email ids? And got acknowledgement from which email?
 
These are the emails. From what I read from a lot of people whoever did this received portal 2 within a day or two and I can also say it worked for me too. Just add @cic.gc.ca to the end of the addresses.

Same Etobicoke was closed but the rest sent. Just check on Monday if you have a ghost update that means someone in the back end opened your application.
