PR CARDS processing times

Hey, My PR card application status disappear from CIC website. Anyone have the same situation? land on Dec 6th,

most likely, cic is updating some info in your application status. i had the same issue before.

I have never seen my pr on my ECAS and it should have arrived this past thrusday Dec 15th. On Thrusday and on Friday I called CIC and they told me that they dont see anything in their system. They dont see any issues with my pictures or anything, but they also dont see that my cards had been mailed..... I am running out of time. I am flying in one week.....I am crossing fingers and hoping to get it before the end of next week....

You have been very helpful in the other thread and I have been searching for any new post from you and found you here today.me and my sister are in queue after you(landed Nov 12/2016).I know it has not been easy for any of us and I even know my post is not going to help you but all it meant for you is not to be stressed out have faith my friend, his(Lord's) time is the right time.

Although it shows as updated on Dec 9th, it has just been updated today the processing times and increased from 44 days to 48 days for new PR cards.

Good luck hopefully u get it on time.
And keep us updated pls.

I think the processing time increase cause cic start asking to looots of applicants at once ppr so it increase the amt of ppl landing and needing pr cards.

But u will get them soon.
Maybe if u explain ur situation they will process it urgently...try!

Has anyone received an email from IRCC stating "our records show you might be a Permanent resident of Canada"...so on? I received it Nov 29.In another thread someone received the same email one day after getting PR card in mail.So Just curious to know, does that indicate you to check your mail??

YEP, i received an email like that from IRCC, and that was their 2nd email (dated Nov 30) to me. The first one was ....a confirmation that they received my application for PR Card blah blah blah........... ( dated Nov 22) ;D

I haven't received my PR card and I have been forced to change my return ticket so I can go to Seattle and drive from there.

Cic told me that they are producing the card and that it will be mailed next week.

They told me that normally the first time you apply for or card you are not supposed to see it in your ecas

Hi I didn't receive my PR card yet. It is more than 55 days waiting. I have no idea when it gonna be. Seems like they are still on the vacation.

Landed at local office.
My lawyer told me right now it takes 2 months to get PR card......

Did you call them, you should call them and find out, they will advise you status of PR card

I called CIC, asked about my PR card they told me that they are in production and will be done at the end of this month. So looks like it takes almost 3 months. Remark I became PR on November 7th 2016. I still have to wait a month. Thats crazy

I am inland applicant and planning to have a vacation in March and will do my landing when I return. My question is do I need to have a valid work permit when I do my landing?
