Anyone else experiencing long delays from Etobicoke? CEC inland, eCoPR Dec 28, GCKey randomly updated to Jan 10 but no status update (so not a GU). Sent email to Etobicoke email address, no answer. Filled out webform, just got a copy-paste "it's in progress" email. I've watched the average processing time go from 15 days to 47 days, and I'm about double that. Do I just keep waiting?
Update, I got a reply this morning to the email I sent the VO several weeks ago. Photo approved and sent to the card processing office, and I finally got my GU1, just over 3 months after eCoPR

I sent the email to the same address where I got my portal credentials, IRCC Client Portal Ontario. That address is actually monitored by humans, although it can take a while for them to reply.
And I just got GU2, card is in the mail, over 3 months later.
Ecopr Dec 28
GU1 April 8
GU2 April 9
Is there any relation between eCopr expiry date and PR card processing?

Technically eCOPR act as PR card (though with some limitations) since the PR card is received. You can update your SiN, work and banking with eCOPR even though PR card is not on sight in the meantime.

Thankyou for your response.
However I mean to ask like if eCOPR is expiring in 3 months then is there any possibility to get PR card faster.

Hi, is there anyone waiting for PR card from Jan eCoPR. I have mine issued on 29th Jan. GU1 on 18th March.
I am an airline personnel and I am out of a job too due airline shut operations. Haven’t been able to join any operator as for my position PR card is necessary.
Sent web forms, Spoke to MP, sent emails, multiple calls to the call centre. I don’t know if there is any other option left to do to expedite or complete the process.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Why don’t you apply for a PRTD?
Why don’t you apply for a PRTD?
Thank you for your input. PRTD wouldn’t work for me as the requirement for PR card is for getting a job in the airline which requires me to frequently fly across borders.
Anyway, I have received GU2 on APR 18 finally. Card is sent out and should receive anytime soon.
I am just waiting to get over from this madness.
