eCOPR - 21st March
PR card - no updates
VO - Montreal
I called IRCC today and they said that my application has crossed the designated processing time for first PR card. They said that they will send a note to the concerned officer as there are no problems with my application whatsoever that might delay it. I wonder if that will work or not. My entire PR journey is on the absolutely bottom percentile of processing timelines, and funnily there has never been a single problem with the application. It's only delayed from IRCC's end.
It might be, but I honestly don't see a reason for this. First, we are already permanent residents and are just waiting for the final document. Second, as PRs, we can't vote. I would understand if it were a case of delaying the processing time for temporary status or even the PR process itself. But just the final document? I don't see a plausible reason. Who knows...

Totally agree. I was thinking more of the elections keeping them busy with some other tasks than anything political but just like you’ve said, we’ll never know if they don’t provide a public statement. I hope they continue issuances soon..
I called them a few minutes ago, and the agent added a note to my file. Same procedure as with the others. No clear explanation, just told to wait and be patient.
eCOPR on April 11th.
Main PR application shows up as closed now in tracker.
Waiting for PR card on mail.
Did an address change after P2, hopefully doesn’t screw up anything
