PR Card Timeline - 2024

it generally shows up as "CANADIAN BANK NOTE COMPANY" on the canada post mymail feature for most people. ive been waiting for my pr card ever since they mailed it out on august 1 yet nothing came in my mail until today! i also travel on september 30. i hope you get yours soon

FINALLY!! Received today!
Canada post make me more intense than deal with ircc.
Long-haul tension is over. I can make it with my flight and go back home. I have a strong feeling that general mail is a pr card, and I can be relieved now and temporarily have no need to deal with the GC key for a few years till I apply for citizenship for the next time. I pray and hope you get yours on time as well.

Update from me: I’m the only one in my family who hasn’t received their PR card, even though I linked my GCKey account first and for all of them. Sometimes these things don’t follow a straightforward process. Today marks the 25th day, so I’ll give them a call next week. Better surely I am now relaxed!

linked both mine (PA) and dependent separately on GCkey, got GU1 on mine yesterday, dependent did not, is it the PA who only get the GU's on PR card?

Sorry, I don't know that. I haven't linked the dependents, only the main applicant.

No. It means they have not yet processed your dependent's card

they are treated individually as a separate application.

give it at least 30days at least thats the long wait.
GU2 to card another 2-3 weeks.
