processing of 1st pr card takes around 63 days as per processing times by IRCC. Generally you would see an update close to that. Your eCOPR date is 5th Oct and I think it is too early to expect any update so early. I wish you get your pr card before your travel, best luck !

Thanks for that buddy. Do you also know from when the processing time start. Technically they say it starts from the day we receive your application and, for PR card it is the day we submit Photo and Address. So for me it was on the day I received P2, Sep 21. So should I consider the processing started from then or from the day I received eCoPR i.e. Oct 5th?

I think it should be 5th Oct (I would assume PR card processing will only start upon you becoming PR). You can check status of PR card on GCKey, under Check Full Application Status, on right side under Application Information check Date Received. Consider that as application start date
What was the reason for the photo rejection? All the photos (myself and my family) that I uploaded to the portal had a warning of reduced pixel density. So I am not sure if mine will get accepted.
