The main mistake everyone made while linking their application is while entering their place of birth, because in COPR place of birth name does not appear all wordings as on passport, so may b officer did not put space in between name or did not put comma, you have to try all possible way, happened with me, but atlast i figure it out and end up linking my application.

Yes you have to enter full name as on your passport village name and then Punjab, if after that still you are unable to add application, try removing space in between village name for example add XYZ,Punjab and second example add XYZ Punjab. Try this for sure u will succeed.

I got my eCOPR - June 23rd (Linked PR card application on my CIC account the same day)
1st GU on PR card application - July 14th
2nd update PR card approved & mailed - July 22nd

No, its not true. I got my copr one month ago but my cic still shows pr application submitted but i linked my pr card application in the same cic account

My friend had the same issue and he wouldn't be able to link it, also on PR confirmation portal, my address changed to accepted & his shows under review too!

Is there a Pdf attached to your 1st portal email, its says in the bottom about your VO (example: Etobicoke) in the signature, also in the subject line of the email as well!
