I have been working in US under a temporary worker visa for 2.5 years. My Canadian wife is staying with me since last year. My PR card is approaching to expire this year and I already met the requirement of 2 years in Canada within 5 years period even without counting days staying with my wife in US. I was wondering if I have to travel back to Canada to apply for the renewal.
