Interesting your application has been sitting for a while. Can you help clarify few things for me?
1. when is your current card expiring?
2. Do you have any extensive travel history? (this would be anything that’s more than six months or frequent trips outside Canada during eligibility period)
I have the same issue. There was another user here who succeeded in linking after repeatedly submitting technical issues via webform, only to encounter the same status as on the PR portal, "submitted."
SMH, it doesn’t appear like we can do much other than wait.
I have been trying to link my application on the IRCC website since Dec 25, 2023 (date of submitting my application). While speaking with the IRCC agent, I was told that if the submission have X at the start, you will not be able to link the application until, the processing agent deletes the X at the start.
My application number starts with XR____________.
Also, this could mean that the application is not looked at and is still in the queue for review.
I just submitted my renewal this afternoon, actually 10 minutes ago. Today is April 3rd, but the date of submission is showing as April 4th. Is that normal? I'm concerned as I updated my address history and employment history before submitting to be up to date (April 3rd), but if its saying I submitted on April 4th, it won't be.. wth?

Sometimes the frustrating part is not knowing. I asked the IRCC agent about the same. I was told that it depends on different parameters and no two applications are the same and to wait.
I am doing my PR renewal for the first time since I became a permanent resident.

I definitely share your frustration and I’m sure many in this thread are on the same boat. I completely agree that no two applications are identical, but I think this only holds true after processing begins. It seems absurd to hear that our applications haven't been touched, echoing what they previously told you and me during our phone call.
Hi all,
Here is a good news, got PR card for my husband.
Online Application date: 14 Jan 2024 No AOR, No conformation, not a single email received from IRCC, Unable to find application through online search, Unable to link it with GC key.
