Hi! I have a similar situation. What did you mention about the absence from July 2019 to April 2022 in the application? Did you add a single line item or did you mention each trip separately?
Looking forward to hear back from you!!
You mention single trip. But in reason explain you also visited x y z countries and duration. Example- Also visited country India- 60 days, New Zealand -30 days and so on. If anything is more than 180 days, another police clearance letter maybe needed

Hi, I applied for a PR card renewal on 13 April 2024 and linked the application to GcKey around early June.

End of June, status changed to - Latest update: Final decision - June 25, 2024: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

I called the IRCC multiple times and they said my case has been transferred to Etobicoke VO on July 18 for further processing, to review my days spent outside Canada. But there is no other update. I am positive I have completed 730 days in the country (taking into consideration the leap years).

Is anyone else in the same boat?
Any general idea on how long does this generally take to process?
Is there any other way to contact the VO directly?

Would appreciate any responses. Thanks!

Were you very close to 730 days? or you spent lot more? If the number of days is very close to 730 , they may decide to have a closer look.

Very close to 730 days. I was at 731, which includes 2 days from 2 leap years (2020 and 2024).

Its already been 4 months. I wish there was a way to contact the Etobicoke VO.
