PR Card Renewal & New - 2022 Processing Timeline

Received card in the mail today.

Congratulations!! Hey... you mentioned.. Found application on GCKey..
Do we need to link it or it gets added automatically?
If we have to link it, where can we find the Application ID if applied renewal through online portal?

When in go to link application, use you UCI number to link your account then you will see you application number after you line the UCI.

Thanks.. but it does not pull up any new in process renewal application yet. I submitted application on 4th Jan 2023. I should wait some more time and keep trying to link it?

Hi Guys!

I applied for my PR card renewal and the application is paper-based.

Received Application: September 22, 2022

Correspondence Acknowledgement: October 21, 2022.

Processing: October 21, 2022

Decision Made: Around December 11-12 ish

As to date, I have not received anything else. I am a little worried to why I haven't received any mail regarding my renewal. I called the IRCC phone line and I even checked the application status on that as well. It say's its still processing and that I don't need any interview or anything else. It also says the status is based on what is available on their system. So it could be that they didn't update the fact the decision was made. But could this be an error? If anyone has any information, please let me know.

Typically when does it allow you to link it? After you receive AOR (assuming they send an official AOR in case of paper based application)?

Profile updated again today, to application approved card is in the mail and the card number etc. etc.....so i had heard no peep since 24th sept 2022, i called them on 6th February early morning to find out an update, and in the space of two days my card is approved and in the mail? Coincidence> Or the call helped to move it along??

Go through the 1st few hoops of listening then enter UCI number then select 3 for permanent res renewal and then enter application number......go through the part were the automation reads out your application status and then at the end press 0 for "real" person.......i called at 0853 Newfoundland time this morning and i was waiting a mere 20seconds to speak to the "real" person. Call early....they say lines open from 0800 (local time) but i tried at 0800 and was closed so waiting a little while and all was open.

I got the same issue here. I got an number with R in email but not sure if it’s application number or something else. I submitted paper application in mail in Dec 15.

I am really in tense.. PR renewal package delivered on December 15, 2022 no AOR yet and getting not found when I searched in ECAS with UCI.. Please advise
Do I need to call CIC?

Did you receive any update yet? Were you able to link? I applied on Jan 27 and now after reading all this am getting nervous.

If its paper based i believe you will get app # in an email when AOR is active, give it a bit more time.
