Pr Card Renewal Etobicoke Office

Hi, pr card is printed and sent to etobicoke office .Any one went to collect the card?

Most of the people in this group are in the same boat and waiting for the renewed pr card pickup invitation from Etobicoke office. But not a word from the office for a long time.

I don’t think they will do anything, my card has been issued on March 2021 and since then it has been stuck in Etobicoke office, seems that the staff are not working in distribution dept.

Recived email to collect my card after couple of weeks, I had applied last December (2020).

My pr card was printed and sent to IRCC for quality Assurance in etobicoke office.
Any idea what does that mean

Through Ircc call center i was told that My card is printed and sent to etobicoke office, When i check online it says decision made but nothing inside when i click on it, It says we started processing your application in October 2021. Please help me to understand what does it mean.

Hi my pr card printed from nova scotia office and sent to Etobicoke office. Is this a normal procedure ? Is there any decision made at this point?

Hi did any of you get an invite from etobicoke office to pick up your PR card. My PR card was printed and sent to Etobicoke office feb 2022, but I have not received any communication from the office. The CIC agent on phone asks me to wait with no timeline.

Have they started processing the applications?

I spoke to CIC agent and they also told me that my PR Card was mailed and shipped to the Etobicoke office on Mar 22. So not sure when they would mail me to come and pick, I am out of the country and waiting for this mail. I had already applied for PRTD which is going to expire next week so I might try to enter Canada via the US on an expired PR Card with the mail they would have sent for the in-person pickup. Hopefully that will let me in.

Same here! It was sent to Etobicoke last March 2022. Do you have any theories why yours was sent to the local office instead of being mailed out?

Am not sure, I got a reply to my webform request saying my PR card has been approved, but has been selected randomly to be picked up in person, since CIC wants to collect some data . Its been very frustrating waiting on the card.

Any updates on all your PR card which was sent to Etobicoke? I applied last August 2021 and on March 2022, my card was sent to Etobicoke. It's June and there are no updates yet!

Hello All.. Myself Akash frm Delhi, India. I applied for PR card renewal on H&C grounds as was nt meeting the Residency obligations.. I applied last year in April and still it's under process..

Fortunately yesterday I was able to speak with agent and he confirmed me my application still under process and stucked at Etobicoke office.. And he requested for urgent update on that..

Here are few questions:

I am in Delhi, India at this moment, and in case i need to pick my card in-person.. I will need PRTD to enter Canada as PR card already expired..

Would I get PRTD easily based on the email received for pick my card, or any issue or complications would be there?

Is there any chance they issue pr card and send to the address I had given in the application and in-person pick up not required?

Can I apply PRTD now like, can I mention that I need to visit Canada to get my pr card or visit my friend, and then wait to get the pr card?

Any help would be highly appreciated
