Hi, I send my application for a PR card renewal at the start of December. Should I expect to receive a confirmation that my application was recieved? I've had nothing on email or post, and my CIC client application page only shows my in progress citizenship application, nothing about my PR card renewal.

I am in the same boat. My mom's PR card has expired in mid Dec. We sent in her PR card renewal application in November and we have heard nothing,.At the same time, we applied for her Canadian Citizenship in July 2021. I checked her status and it only shows her Citizenship application is in progress but nothing about her PR.
