@CNP @shivjot - what documents did you submit with your PR renewal application? Do we need to provide proof like passport stamps if we were out of the country within 2-3 yrs?

I have no clue on process of PR card renewal, for PR card tracking, try these steps -

1. Link PR card application to GCkey - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...es/application/account/link-paper-online.html OR
2. Call IRCC at 1 (888) 242-2100 .When you call IRCC, It will ask you for the UCI , press 2 i.e. no UCI available and then as soon as the message for Afghanistan and Ukraine refugees start playing press 3 3 0 in quick succession you will be able to reach them. Ask them your PR card application number and use the same to link

Your renewal application processing has not started and hence you are not able to link it. Keep trying and when the process has started, you will be able to link it.

I also tried another application which is completed and approved already and still its linking the old PR card application.

Yes after landing when I applied 1st card back in 2018. I tried to link my current PR Card application which is almost done I believe for my wife but after linking it’s showing my older card details.

ok so I tried linking 1 more application which is already completed last year but it still linking the application when my daughter actually landed few yrs back not the renewal application.

Hi @CNP - After how many days we should call them to get the application number?

Thank you for your response. I did as you said and was able to connect with an agent . After providing them with the info , she informed me that the application is under process and the latest update is that it is in the production facility for the card. Does this mean that I should receive it soon? She also mentioned it was being processed manually so it took longer.

Whether an individual can travel to the U.S. depends on U.S. law and what travel documents the individual carries. I do not follow U.S. policy or rules much.

If an individual with Canadian PR status is outside Canada and able to travel to a border Port-of-Entry, on the U.S. border, they will be allowed into Canada when the border officials are satisfied the individual is a Canadian PR. Generally a passport proving identity is enough, since once identity is established that will enable border officials to confirm the individual's Canadian PR status. However, it goes a lot easier if the PR can directly prove their PR status. An expired PR card and CoPR should do that easily.
