Dear Admin & forum
I am a new immigrant of Canada (landed before 45 days). Today is the 32 business day according to the calendar but I have not received my PR card. I am in Scarborough ON with my wife & daughters.
Some of the people here are telling nowadays government is sending PR card after 6 month or 4 months or long.
But the CIC website is showing 35 business days. I have not received my PR card till date. On my arrival the visa officer told me that I will get my PR card in 4 to 6 weeks.
Now my mother at India is ill & she needs me & my family because she is alone there.
The lending papers are the only documents I am having with me.
So I need your advice.
(1) What should I do? Should I still wait for 35 business days to be completed or I should directly go to CIC office?
(2)If I have to go in emergency what should I do? & how can I come back to Canada without any interruptions?
(3)If I will go back to my country, will they cancel my permanent residency status?
Plz send me information as soon as possible. I am confused & need immediate help.
Thanking you in anticipation & remain..

1. Well the posted processing time is 34 days, then it has to be mailed.
2. Have someone courier over seas.
